How to be safe in a world full of AI?
Can we use AI to protect against bad actors using AI?
Why does google translate not work perfectly?
These were some of the questions posed by students of St. Peters Education (School, Junior College, Degree and Vocational College) during our seminar, ‘AI First Thinking’ held for them last week at their campus in Vasai. The level of curiosity and awareness they brought to the session was nothing short of inspiring. Their eagerness to dive into the complexities of AI, not just its benefits but also its risks, left me surprised, frankly.
Their questions reminded me that today’s youth are not only future consumers of AI but also its future creators and leaders. As an industry, it is our responsibility to guide this curiosity toward responsible innovation.
Points we covered:
1. What is AI, its applications, its limitations
2. We saw real AI demos in action
3. Understanding the difference between using AI tools and developing own AI models/software
4. AI First thinking
Personally, it was a day well spent. Special thanks to the organizing team. I am grateful for the opportunity ST PETER VOCATIONAL DEGREE COLLEGE. 🙏
